"Tonight, I wondered in with two of my best friends Zach and Jose. To say the least, Uncle Angelo put it down. I’m a Tennessee boy. From the first bite, I almost shed a tear… Each bite I ate, reminded me so much of home. We all said together this is the best place we’ve stopped at for food, let alone the great environment and hospitality. We could not recommend it enough! Let me tell y’all, if I could vote this the best place in Germany, I would. Definitely for the price. If you’re located anywhere close to here, go there. And don’t thank me. "Not the dinner I expected to be eating in Bavaria on a Tuesday evening. Angelo opened the door for us, turned the music on and took our drink order as we settled down at a table. Menu‘s got something for everybody, and we enjoyed chatting with Angelo (owner / host) as he prepped the food. Now, the food itself: I got a plate (catfish, greens, corn bread) that I’m pretty sure could cure cancer. If you know good down home southern soul cooking, then you’ll be instantly transported back home taking a bite of this man‘s food. Like, it’s fun and novel to even see a soul food restaurant in Bavaria, but for that restaurant to frickin NAIL every plate too? Wow wow wow. My only regret is not ordering more. Prices are shockingly low, which is intentional to ensure everyone can come get a plate here. Wife and kids had chicken, Mac n cheese, corn on the cob, and a burger. Only thing left at the end of our meal was the bones If I lived here, I’d be coming at least once a week. Don’t care who you are, you need to come experience this place. It’s unique in its authenticity, and Angelo was welcoming and interesting to talk with. Go. Now."

"Best soul food I've ever had! Everything is seasoned perfectly. The fried chicken, shrimp and catfish are all delicious. Also highly recommend their collard greens and sweet baked beans. Will absolutely recommend to everyone and will be back often! Prices are also very affordable and the owner is a very nice guy."

"If you are into Afro-centric vibes then this is the place for you. His music plays R&B and Old School Music that leaves you remembering the cookouts that you had with your family back in the states. I got the chicken, hush puppies, potato salad, Koolaid and a beer. Honestly, I didn't see all the hype. For me, this place is more nostalgic then for the food, when I miss home. I come here to remember my family while eating food cooked from his soul while he engages me about life and his military career and mine's. Make sure to read that book. IYKYK."
